An alternative pathway to Colorado Teacher Licensure that recognizes Montessori Teacher Credentials. The CMA Advocacy Team worked with the CDE and CU’s ASPIRE to Teach program in 2024 to put this in place, making it possible to apply Montessori Credentials toward teacher Licensure as a step toward Montessori being recognized and accepted as an established educational pedagogy in Colorado.
